Shaun Lester, PhD, LPC

My Education

I graduated from Texas Tech University, in 2007, with a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Marriage and Family Therapy, attended the University of Eastern New Mexico, and earned a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology, in 1997, and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology & Religion, 1994.

I am a Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Approved Supervisor in the State of Texas (#61929).

My Experience

I have over 15 years experience counseling adults, adolescents, children, couples, families, and groups; in private practice; as a counseling center director, as a associate psychologist, as a crisis hotline counselor, and as a paraprofessional counselor.

In addition to private practice, I teach psychology at Lone Star College.
